The surprises of living in the magic excite me every day! I was working at Good Vibes Wellness a few weekends ago during the "Something In The Water" Festival in Virginia Beach, and only a few people were venturing into the shop for crystals even though the beachfront was bursting at the seams with visitors. It was a gorgeous day, and the mood in the city was light and festive. A nicely dressed woman entered the shop asking for a past life regression session for her husband. I spoke with her, and although I am not a past life regression facilitator, I do read past lives, and after a brief conversation, she asked if I would come to the hotel and do a reading for her husband and do some energy healing for her. Instantly, I responded with a yes, as it had been hours in the shop with no action. Why not get some fresh air, do some readings, and have some fun?

My journey of about twelve blocks began a bit before 7 pm. As I walked down the street toward the hotel, I observed my mind bringing up some concerns. "What if they drug you? What if they hurt you? This isn't safe," said my logical, left brain. When I say that I observed my mind, I am referring to my ability to discern the difference between my spirit, body, mind, and emotions. Through my training as an intuitive, and after much self-healing and self-observation, I have learned how to determine which aspect of myself is shouting out. I scanned my body, emotions, and heart center for any reason to be afraid. There were none! I reviewed the events that led up to my decision to accept the invitation. The lady was well dressed. She came into a metaphysical shop to inquire about a past life regression for her husband. There were no red flags and no real reasons to be afraid. Interestingly, I didn't "feel" any fear either.

As I calmed my own mind down, I instantly received an Angel number 644. I didn't look it up to see what the message was, yet knew that I was safe and that my intuition was right on.

When I arrived at the hotel, the lovely lady met me and took me up to the suite. I did readings and energy healings for four people who all had a wonderful experience. When I finished, she paid me cash with a nice tip and asked if I would like to see the other side of the suite. "Sure," I replied, without knowing what was happening next.

Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!

The photo above is the scene that I saw as we walked onto the balcony. I found myself nine stories high at the concert where Pharrell Williams was headlining in just a few minutes! Interestingly, my host's teenage kids were the ones excited about Pharrell, and she told me that she didn't even know who he was until they mentioned the "Happy" song. We chatted briefly about Pharrell, and then my gracious host asked if I would like to stay. I politely declined, only because I don't know many of Pharrell's songs, and had to walk quite a way home, and it was getting late.

On the way back to my house, weaving through crowded sidewalks filled with young festival-goers, I spotted a shiny penny on the ground in front of me. Angels again! They had been with me all evening long.

When I arrived home, I contemplated the day's events: the mind's fear, my observation of the fear, being able to trust my intuition, angels, and guides, seeing signs along the way, having fun reading and helping the people, and the cool surprise. Gratitude overwhelmed me. I remembered years ago reading "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and mentally understanding that I am to be the observer of my thoughts. At that time I had just begun that journey. Now it's so automatic, that I don't have to think about it. (No pun intended!) I can easily separate and read myself and know what's going on. My inner compass is calibrated, and I am not afraid to follow it!

Then I looked up the Angel message of 644 which is based on numerology. What I read blew me away! It spoke of releasing worry and letting our angels be our guides. It also spoke of releasing negativity and bringing in positive energy and abundance. I pondered how this fantastic opportunity had presented itself to me. Had it been an artist or band that I really loved, I would have stayed whether I was tired or not! I was presented with a gift to watch a high-priced concert at no charge from a safe and beautiful vantage point, and I am sure that I would have been offered food and drinks to boot, and made new friends.

So, this is how the Universe works! It hadn't been the first time that something like this had presented itself, yet there have been times that even MY dreams haven't been as big as they could have been due to my limiting beliefs. It just takes following our heart and intuition to see the magic manifest right before our eyes. It does take some courage because our old programming raises its ugly head at times to hinder us. Gratitude continues to flow through me because I have been able to clear lifetimes of fear out of my space - at least enough to be open to new adventures and surprises. My default had been fear for most of my life, and now I am able to see that stinking fear energy, clear it out and fill in with courage, peace, love, freedom, and knowingness!
